IAM4
IAM4 was founded in 2015 as a split off of RuleManagement Group (RMG). Where RMG focuses on consultancy around rule management, IAM4 develops the software solutions that support it. IAM4 consists of a group of specialists with extensive knowledge and experience in research, development, informatics, legal informatics and related domains.
The work of IAM4 is focussed around the RuleManagement Method. This method – initially developed by and with the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration in the E-Power project – focuses on the determination of an unambiguous interpretation of legal texts, that can be automated 1-on-1. With the IAM4 RM Suite an organization has a means to draw up legal specifications in a consistent, repeatable and maintainable way . The IAM4 RM Suite is used by several large executing government organizations, local governments, pension funds and life insurance companies..
Within the method techniques form informatics, legal informatics and artificial intelligence are used. The results of the analysis and modeling process (the interpretation and unambiguous documenting by way of knowledge models) can be transformed into decision services for multiple technologies such as rule engines like Drools, IBM ODM, Corticon and Oracle Policy Automation. But translation into code like Java or .Net is also possible.
